Dad
My dad’s getting a new hearing aid on Tuesday, and he just explained the day when he tested it for calibrations. He was amazed at all the sounds he’s never been able to hear before. Like birds. When he was asked to listen for birds outside, he said he wasn’t sure if he could since he’s never really heard birds before.
Damn. I can’t imagine what that feeling must be like.
“Killed 99 bears”
a fact that if actually accomplished, should be put on a tombstone.
It’s probably unrealistic of me to hope that he died fighting off a mob of 99 bears and was only killed by the 100th bear.
